My older dog has a wart that appeared on his forehead about a year ago. I took him in to the vet to see if it was something to worry about. They said no and if I wanted it removed he would have to be put under and the price was rather high. My response was no if it wasn't something to worry about. Should I apply something to remove it? Often he rubs it and cases it to bleed.Warts such as these often appear on the bodies of older dogs, particularly it seems on those who have had a lifetime of eating commercial food.
