Yellow Dock for Ear Mites on Cat?

I hear that yellow dock may be used for ear mites in cats. If so how many drops of yellow dock and how much water would I use?

I have not heard of yellow dock (Rumex crispus) being used for ear mites but there is a posting on this website (www.richters) that deals with this issue in either cats or dogs. Please see: "Dog and Ear Mites" for further information.
