I own a standard poodle is it okay for her to eat dried up Queen Anne's Lace?I know of no studies done documenting the consumption of Queen Ann's Lace (Daucus carota) by dogs. Also known as Wild Carrot, this plant has traditionally been employed by humans as a diuretic and also for its antibacterial, vermifuge (anti-worm) and hypotensive properties. It may also prevent pregnancy, and can externally cause blisters and dermatitis. A number of entries in textx on human use ask the reader to exercise caution in its use therefore I would suggest that you not allow your dog to eat this plant, fresh or dried.
