The holistic food my dog eats is Holistic Blend.Thank you sending me a list of ingredients for your dog's food. As mentioned in my previous post, no matter how "holistic" a commercial animal food tries to be, it must, by definition be made from cooked ingredients, whether through low temperature heat or not. Heat of any kind still kills all the vital amino acids and other nutrients required for proper digestion, metabolism and ongoing health. If possible, do give the homemade diet idea a try. To reiterate, you will find a variety of ideas and recipes in the work of Richard Pitcairn, "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats", "The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat" by Juliette de Bairacli Levy and "The Barf Diet" by Ian Billinghurst.
