Musty Ferret and Diet

Is there anything I can feed or bath my ferret with to calm the musty scent?

Odoriferous animals can signal a multitude of different questions. How is your ferret's coat? Is it silky or does it have a dry, greasy feel? How is its digestion? Any vomiting, diarrhoea or constipation? Given ferrets are members of the weasel (Mustelidae) family, the musty smell you mention could also be due to the animal's scent glands, a natural function enabling them to mark territory and attract mates. The easiest place to start might be to ensure the ferret is getting a nutritious diet as the old saying, "You are what you eat" applies to animals as well as humans. Ferrets, like their cousins skunks and mink, are carnivorous creatures. This means that they need to consume raw meat as well as some vegetables (to simulate what they might eat if they were still living in the wild).
