My five year old Rottweiller started having seizures more than a year ago. We are still in the process of controlling them. Currently, she's on 2.5 grains of Phenobarbitol and 500mg of Potassium Bromide twice a day. In addition to our regular vet, we are also seeing a homeopathic vet. We've tried a sulfer treatment that has definitely changed her seizures for the better but he still wants to get better control of the seizures (she can go a month seizure free then have 2-4 seizures within 2 days). The latest remedy is Hyoscyamus – small dose everyday for the next several weeks.
