Cataracts and Parasites

I wanted to ask you about my older cat and middle-aged dog. My older cat has developed cataracts and her sight is very poor; are there any herbs or minerals that could help her see better?
I also have a middle-aged dog who spends his time outside. I would like to find a treatment for heartworms and other kinds of parasites that do not require chemical medications. Do you know of any? Someone mentioned to me that they thought Angstrom Copper killed parasites, but, I wanted to ask you first.

To specifically address cataracts, you may want to look at the use of Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) along with Cod liver oil (1/2 teaspoon per day) Vitamin C (125 mg twice a day) and Vitamin E (50 iu once a day), alongside the use of a homemade food as mentioned above.
