Currently i'm studying Horticulture toward a PhD degree at university of Tabriz.Tabriz-Iran.
I'm working on medicinal and aromatic plants and my thesis is on influence of some agronomical factors on the essential oil composition of Tanacetum balsamita. If possible please let me know if you have varieties for this plant or not? and other information about this plant. I'm looking forward to reading you soon.
We have never seen named cultivars of costmary (Tancetum balsamita, syn. Chrysanthemum balsamita) in the trade. Ours is an unnamed cultivar commonly offered by herb nurseries throughout the West. There may well be differences among the material offered in the trade, but those differences are undocumented.
