In your catalog you list Santolina chamaecyparissus as both a dwarf and standard variety. Can you give me more info on the standard as compared to the dwarf (height etc.) as I am considering which one would be more appropriate for dried wreath production.
The standard and dwarf varieties are very similar. The dwarf form is perhaps a few inches shorter than the standard variety, about 20cm/8" vs. 30cm/12", approximately. The standard variety is grown from seeds and as such it will not have the consistent growth habit as the dwarf variety which is grown from cuttings only.
For wreath production, the standard would be better because its taller stature will yield more useable foliage.
