2003 Herb of the Year

I will be writing an article on the 2003 herb of the year for our local horticulture society yearbook. Can you tell me which herb has been chosen for 2003?

It's basil. In celebration, Richters is adding several new varieties of basil, including new disease resistant varieties. Details of the new varieties will be posted on our website in the next couple weeks.
