I am wondering if you have seed for Periwinkle and if it grows well from seed planted in a large area or if it has to be started in pots. I am talking quite a large shaded area. There are different types of periwinkle, some that can be grown from seeds and others that cannot. The one you want, Vinca minor, that grows as a ground cover in shade, cannot be grown from seeds. The only inexpensive alternative for you is plug trays where you get 120 plugs per tray.
