I am a small scale fresh-cut herb and flower farmer. I currently sell at local farm markets and would like to expand my business in 2010. I'm thinking that I would like to raise stevia, since it is the new hot product right now, but my problem is that I have no idea where to market and sell it.Stevia is a sugar substitute, used primarily for the herbal tea flavoring markets. That means almost any tea manufacturer is a prime candidate for using this new ingredient as a sugar substitute. I might even look at herbal and regular coffee roasters now. It is easy to grow, but the leaf must be separated from the stem for normal sale and use.
