I keep seeing mayapple good for this and that any truth to these claims anyone buying this? Any buyers for woods grown ginseng-goldenseal-bloodroot in the NE Arkansas area? Have heard rootlets are in demand; any brokers out there for small timers 10,000 or less per year?Mayapple is a common name for American mandrake (Podophyllum peltatum L.), and does not enjoy large markets in North America. I wrote about it in my book "Native Plants Of Commercial Importance." Be careful with this root, as it is quite toxic and is used as a drug in surgery.
