Sowing Lavender Directly in Field

We are planing on sowing Lavender seeds directly into our field, what rate would be sow them at. How any seed are required to sow a one acre plot.

Direct sowing of lavender seeds in the field is definitely not recommended! Lavender is slow to germinate and slow to become established. Among other problems, the slow growing seedlings will have trouble competing against faster growing weeds.
Lavender should be sown in plug trays, seed flats, or seed beds; then the seedlings are transplanted and grown on until they are big enough to plant to the field. When sown indirectly you need 1-2 kg of seed per acre. From seed to field planting takes about 3-4 months.
