Looking for a Root and Herb Buyer in Southeast Ohio

We are a local root and herb buyer looking for a buyer for our goods, black and blue cohosh, blood root , golden seal root and herb, wild ginger, virginia snakeroot, maiden hair fern, and ginseng.

It has been a very long time since Tenneva Hide and Fir bought products from Ohio wildcrafters. The only currently list I have in your state is a Michael Cales at 708-595-7340. Wilcox Natural Products also bought from Ohio until they closed several years ago. Their primary buyer was Ray Bowkley, Blue Ridge Botanicals, NC, at 828-297-5230.
I sell both black and blue cohosh root, goldenseal root, and ginseng root, but require minimum quantities of 1,000 lbs. Most of my current buyers prefer to have forest farmed crops that are certified organic. Wildcraft does not bring the top dollar it used to, except in some ginsengs. And, the future.
