Artemisia Trade and Cultivation

Kindly send me the information related to production and marketing of this herb commonly known as "sweet annie." If you can only give me the contacts of the growers involved in cultivation and marketing of this herb it will be of great help.

"Sweet Annie" is a species of Wormwood (Artemisia annua), used primarily in the floral trade. Another common name is Sweet Wormwood. There are some cultivations of this crop for use in the U.S. Army medical kits (used to treat malaria), and for the thujone extraction.
There are hundreds of growers throughout North America that have 1/4 to 1/2 acre rows of this perennial for the dried floral trade. I know of at least three growers with more than 20 acres (each), either putting it up as a dried herb, or as a steam distillation for the oil.
This is mostly sold in the floral trade. The primary buyers for the oil include A. M. Todd and Lebermuth (MI and IN). I have one farmer with almost 80,000 lbs. dried herb now for immediate sale (COG tag). His price is negotiable, as there is not a large demand (right now) for this crop.
