I am wondering if you might be able to grow Violet plants for me - Sweet Violet, Viola odorata. I recently purchased the seeds but the directions are too complicated for me, as I am a beginner with plants. Friends tell me that even with following the directions precisely, the seeds would not sprout. Could you please grow Violets for me? I am looking for 12 plants.Viola odorata seeds are not too difficult to germinate. It might be fun to try and experiment with the seeds. The seeds can be placed in a bit of moist soil, in a baggy and stored in the refridgerator for 4 to 6 weeks. After this period, remove the baggy, and sow the seeds either in a flat or directly outside in a cool, shady site. Keep the soil damp by sprinkling water on them gently daily. They should germinate in a week or two.
