I would need some advice concerning the alpine strawberries that will be delivered during the June 18th week: distance between plants, distance between rows and any special care for planting.
Space the plants 15cm within rows and the rows far enough apaert so that you can get at the plants to harvest the berries -usually one meter.
Mulch the area fairly heavily it keeps the soil moist and more even soil temperature. They are called strawberries, because they love a straw mulch - it also keeps the berries away from the dirt splashes.
Never let them dry out they will abort berries or put out dry bitter berries.
