I am attempting to grow poison hemlock indoors in an isolated spot. What are the correct conditions for growing (humidity, temperature, soil type, etc.)?
This plant is not fussy about soil. It prefers a rich humid soil but tolerates sandy dry soils too. It will grow in sun to half shade. It prefers good humidity, but tolerates dry air reasonably well. Try to have a drop between day and night temperature of 5 Celsius (10 Fahrenheit degrees) and all your plants will do much better. For the winter keep it much cooler, that is just above freezing for about two months, to simulate a winter rest.
Last but not least make very sure that no children can get at the plant and that no "hungry for greens" pets nibble on it.
