On our property, we have pink/purple echinacea as well as yellow echincacea. We like the yellow because they do not grow as tall as the pink/purple which topple over. We would like to add white but I want to make sure they do not grow as tall as the pink/purple. Do you recommend 'Fragrant Angel', 'Primadonna White', or 'White Swan'? Is there any difference in their heights?
We have not grown them side-by-side so we cannot tell you which one is the most compact of the three. But any difference would be slight as they are all about 75cm (30") in height – about the same as yellow echinacea (E. paraxdoxa). Some varieties such as 'Magnus' can reach up to 1m (40") in height and they are more prone to lodging (toppling over).
