My Lamb's Ear was doing great until I watered it. Now the leaves are turning yellow at the base of the plant and are matting up. Can I save it?Loosen the soil a bit under the plant, add some sand to the surface soil and put some straw under the leaves as well. This should allow a bit of air under it and would discourage any fungal or bacterial infection, since they like moist conditions. Pouring a bottle of 3 to 5% hydrogen peroxide over the plant will do in a lot of harmful organisms too. Sprinkling powdered cinnamon over the plant might help as well.
