Growing Eucalyptus Indoors

I have ordered a eucalyptus plant from Richters, and am growing it in a south facing windw. The leaves are turning black starting at the outer edges. Can you offer some tips for growing this plant indoors?

I think the root system is having a hard time keeping up with the water loss of full sun and high summer temperature. Water more frequently and if this does not do the trick, move the plant into a shadier spot until the roots have caught up with the rate of water loss. You may have to move the plant into a larger pot, but do not disturb the root ball when you do so. Eucalyptus hate root disturbance. Keep shady for at least two weeks after potting on and in both cases move the plant slowly over two weeks to a month back into the high light. Place the plant onto a pebble tray half filled with water to increase the humidity around the plant without drowning the roots. The plant will be over, but not in water.
