I'm a beginner at growing echinacea just because I wanted to try it. I also believe in it along with other herbs. Could you tell me which part of the plant I use to make tea or grind up for ingestion. Just basically what to do with the plant.Just about all parts of the plant are used for medicinal purposes. The roots are the most important part, but the leaves are widely used in commercial products as well. But even the flowers and seeds are used. Usually a tincture is made from the roots. Powdered roots or juiced leaves are also made.
