I am considering ordering a few packets of Cape Aloe seeds from you, however, I was curious if there are any special requirments to coax the seeds to germinate, such as high soil temperature, stratification, or any other special procedures.
We never have problems with cape aloe (Aloe ferox). It is slow to germinate, but bottom heat of 25 degrees Celsius helps. Seedlings are slow to develop, taking several months in the seedbox until they are ready for transplanting. But otherwise it does not need any special treatment before or during germination.
