Plectranthus

I can't seem to find any information on the actual uses and care for my plectranthus. It was given to me, and I'm afraid it won't survive if I'm unable to find info about it.

We offer two Plectranthus species, one with an oregano scent and the other with a menthol scent. Both require lots of light for sturdy compact growth and good scent production. Do not overwater, but water after the top centimeter or two of soil have dried out. Both need well-draining soil.
We call the oregano scented species 'Cuban oregano' – after its place of origin. It is used as a scent plant. The menthol scented species, Plectranthus purpuratus is called 'Vicks Plant' and just like Vick's Vapour Rub is applied as an external chest rub followed by a hot compress for chest colds. Needless to say, it is also a lovely scent plant.
