I had a parsley plant that recently went to seed. Do you think I'll succeed in planting the seeds and growing new plants?
Since parsley seed loses its viability rather quickly, your fresh seed should germinate well. In early spring plant the seed no more than half a centimeter deep in any good garden soil, and maybe plant a few radishes with them to mark the row. Keep well watered. Sometimes the seed will come up in 5 days, but under other conditions it can take as long as a month. If the seed is planted too late in the season it could wait until fall to germinate!
