Betony

In May I started betony from seed. I am growing the plants inside. However, I am unaware as to when the leaves can be picked for drying. Also could you please include the growing instructions for this herb as I may not be doing it correctly.

Betony likes neutral to acid, well-drained soil that is on the dry side and will even tolerate very poor soil. Plant it in full sun or partial shade.
