Ginkgo Leaf Curling

Help! My ginkgo plant leaves are starting to curl. I have had them for a few months now. Can you tell me what is going on? One was fertilized, one was in the garage window and another was in the house window. But they all seem to be suffering the same fate. The soil is the same potting type that the local nursery sells.

Your problem may be low light. Move your plants into full sunlight outdoors - in stages, starting with full outdoor shade.
Ginkgo is very hardy and as a tree does it best outdoors in any case. Although it can reach 30 metres (100 feet) in height, commercial ginkgo growers keep them trimmed to about 1.5 metres (5 feet).
