What is the pH range for citrus plants? What is the pH range for roses?None of the books I checked, mentioned anything about the pH that citrus plants can tolerate. Since they seem to grow well in gardens, a slightly acid soil would seem to be ideal. According to most authors roses grow on slightly acid to neutral soils. One author writes that they can tolerate soils with a pH up to 9.5
