Canary Island Lavender

I would like information on growing Canary Island Lavender.
Some authors consider Canary Island lavender as a subspecies of the fernleaf lavender. Both of these lavenders are hardy only in zones eight to nine. In more northern latidudes they will have to be wintered indoors in as sunny a window as possible. The plants will do better if kept a bit cooler for this indoor stay. All lavenders need excellent drainage, so make sure that your soil mix and pots permit water to drain out easily.
