You've probably answered this question before, but I am looking for a home-use herb mill to powder small quantities of various herbs (chamomile, marigold, oatstraw, etc.). I'll need the powder fine enough so that it will liquefy when added to water. We have had great success with a Surmeet Asian Kitchen Machine. This unit is a counter top grinder from India that grinds all types of herbs and spices into powders. It has a heavy-duty motor which is needed to really do a good job grinding dried products. It is very reasonably priced, under $250. Check with local Indian appliance distributors for availability in your area.
I won't be doing this very often and don't want to invest the money required for commercial-type mill. Are you aware of any products suited for the home market that would do the job?
