Christine, I am looking for help dissolving a fairly large fibroadenoma in my left breast. It has been there 2 years and has gotten larger despite my efforts. I don't want surgery. Please help with ANY information you can offer.Fibroadenomas are dense benign fibrous tissue growths and in your case is in the breast. They are due to the liver not clearing away metabolic waste and excessive hormones. You are correct that they are often estrogen driven. A diet and lifestyle that promotes good liver function is the best thing you can do for your breasts. Bitter herbs that help to stimulate the liver are helpful such as dandelion, yellow dock, barberry, and gentian and can be taken on a daily basis in small doses before each meal. Herbs that reduce the effects of stress are extremely important here as well due to the endocrine dysregulation that stress can cause – lavender, lemon balm, scullcap, and California poppy.
As you know this is fibrous. I am told that I do not have fibrocystic breasts. I have tried some Chinese remedies, shark's cartilage, good vitamins, cleanses, cat's claw, oregano, garlic, mushrooms but I need something stronger and more effective. I hear red clover might be good but then i hear it may increase estrogen. I hear poke root may be good but then i hear you have to be super careful.
It seems to slightly enlarge with my cycle and so i suppose it is estrogen driven but that can't be all. I eat fairly healthy in my opinion and never use artificial sweeteners, soda etc. I do an organic green drink daily.
Can you advise? Thank you so much.
