My cousin, 80 yrs. old, has hypoglycemia. Please advise what herbs can help my cousin. This question has been answered before and can be found at:
I, also, have some sinus problems which are causing a throbbing atthe base
of my throat. I have never experienced this and wonder if adenoidsare involved.
Sometimes it causes windedness if I lift something weightier thanusual. Ears
are affected also. This really sounds like an underlying dairy sensitivity via a sympathetic referral response which can then affect the ears, adenoids and lungs. Eliminate all dairy products for a few months then slowly reintroduce fermented dairy products such as a good quality yogurt and blue or old cheeses. In the mean time, warming digestive bitters such as anise, fennel, elecampane root, gentian, and catnip can be used to stimulate good digestion and help reduce the irritation that is causing this sympathetic referral. Essential fatty acids such as fish oils and flax seed oil can also be taken to reduce the inflammation and irritation as well.
