I have been diagnosed with urine protein and I think that this may be pushing my blood pressure up. I have been to my G.P but he said that he had no concerns about my blood pressure last year at surgery it was 140/88 but when I take my own readings at home thay seem to be about 180/90. I went to see a nephrologist about my urine protein and my g.p. said his findings were purely academic. I had a hernia operation two months ago and the anaethitist said during the operation my blood pressure was normal but through the day it started to creep up and he said it could be due to my proteinuria. I would like to know if there are any hebal remedies that could help with proteinuria and therefore my blood pressure. You need to be speaking with your doctor about your blood pressure to confirm it is a problem for you and not with your machine at home. This will also give you an idea as to how far advanced the proteinuria is.
