I want to know the use of garlic in our system, because one of my friends told me that it helps to increase the white blood cells in our body, and it always a medicinal plant. I want to know how important it is to our body.
Garlic has hundreds of medicinal uses, including enhancing the white blood cell count. It is also useful in: counteracting bacterial, fungal, parasitic and viral infections; reducing blood platelet clumping to avoid clots in the blood vessels; helping to reduce high blood pressure; reducing high blood fats; as an antihistamine in allergies; as an expectorant and antimicrobial in coughs, bronchitis and asthma.
Cautions: Garlic can aggravate sensitive intestinal tracts. If you are taking blood thinners or about to have surgery, inform your doctor if you are taking large quantities of garlic.
