California Black Cohosh for Menopausal Symptoms?

I was told by my cancer doctor to take California Black Cohosh for menopause symtoms. She said that the California Cohosh was proven to take care of symtoms. Where can I buy California Black Cohosh?

I suggest that you phone your doctor's office to ask about California Black Cohosh. I assume that this is the herb Aralia californica. I have not seen any research on using California black cohosh for menopause. I don't know where you would buy it.
The herb that is normally used for menopausal symptoms, and is backed by lots of research is black cohosh, Cimicifuga racemosa. This is easily available at all health food stores.
