Joint Pain

What is a good herb to use for joint pain in my legs and sometimes lower back? I have a thyroid problem but I am not taking any medication. I am taking something called Raw Thyroid. Most medicines do not agree with me so I really don't take it. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
