I am concerned about a product called Nutrathin which is claimed to be 100% natural Hoodia gordonii. I got the information from www.nutracore.com/landing_028/ingredients.aspx Is this too good to be true?
I am not familiar the Nutrathin product so I cannot comment on the claims made for it. The website emphasizes "100% certified authentic South African Hoodia Gordonii," implying to me that the product is 100% Hoodia and that the Hoodia it contains is authentic. The website is confusing because it says "with 100% natural Hoodia gordonii" but the list of ingredients does not include Hoodia. You should contact the manufacturer to find out the quantity of Hoodia the product contains.
As we have said in a previous answer on our website, "According to the BBC (see: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/correspondent/2947810.stm) it is currently illegal to export this plant, and diet pills sold over the internet have "no discernible Hoodia" in them.
