What is Lomatium?

What would lomatium be used for? What are some benefits from using it and how do you use it?

Lomatium root has antiviral and antibacterial actions. It is used mainly for infections of the upper respiratory tract like pneumonia, infective and tuberculosis, but it can be used for any viral or bacterial infection. It is taken as a tea or tincture.
Because lomatium occasionally causes a severe skin rash, I recommend that you do not take it unless advised by a reputable health care practitioner.
