I was told about an herb that would pull the toxins from your skin. Do you know of such an herb?
Used externally, a poultice of slippery elm bark powder or plantain leaf draws toxins from the skin. To use slippery elm, mix the powder with water to form a paste, and apply. Cover with gauze to hold in place until the paste has dried, then discard. Reapply 4 times daily. To use plantain, crush a fresh leaf, and tape in place. Apply a fresh leaf every few hours. These herbs are used to pull the toxins of insect bites and minor infections from the skin. For chronic skin conditions, like eczema and psoriasis, use other herbs internally to promote healing from the inside. See our website at www.richters.com for information on chronic skin conditions. Choose "Q&A" from the main menu, then enter the word "eczema" or "psoriasis" for the search.
