My question is: are you aware of any adverse drug contraindictions for "cat's whiskers"? For example: the drug Macrobid with the herb orthosiphon.
Orthosiphon stamineus is also known as Orthosiphon aristatus, cat's whiskers and Java tea. It is used as a diuretic in urinary tract infections and kidney problems. The drug Macrobid is an antibiotic used in urinary tract infections. The only contraidication that I know of is that orthosiphon should not be taken with a diuretic drug. Macrobid is not a diuretic drug.
