Spanish Fly (Cantharis)

Would like to have info on this herb, as much as you can give me.

Cantharis vesicatorius is the scientific name for a beetle called 'spanish fly', used in alternative medicine, especially in homeopathy. We do not have any expertise in it, or any experience using it.
