I am thirteen years old. Should I be taking eight 500 mg Alfalfa tablets a day? I also take a multi-vitamin daily.Alfalfa is an excellent nutritive plant, abundant in vitamins and minerals to promote healthy body tissue including the skin, bones and teeth, and to promote immunity. I do not recommend taking supplemental tablets unless they are specifically needed. Tablets usually contain fillers of some kinds, and our bodies can assimilate whole foods more easily. Taking supplements continually can put the body out of its natural balance.
