I'm not sure if this question fits your forum, but maybe you could help me out anyway. I am looking for a recipe for a cucumber facial mask. Would you happen to know of any? I would really appreciate any help you can give me with this.Barbara Griggs, in "The Green Witch: A Modern Woman's Herbal" (Random House publishers), recommends the following cucumber facials. For soothing, softening and keeping the skin clear, grate cucumber into a little yoghurt or cream. As a mask, first clean your skin thoroughly, and if you have time, steam with a rosemary or thyme infusion to open the pores. This facial mask, Griggs attributes to Maurice Messegue: to a cup of fresh cream, add the yolk of an egg for dry skin or the whipped white for greasy skin. Add crushed cucumber flesh. Leave on for 15 minutes, rinse with tepid water and freshen with rose water. Let the skin rest for an hour before applying make-up. For acne, apply cucumber juice every night, removing it after 10 minutes with rose water.
