I am due to have a baby in 7 weeks and will not be breast feeding. My doctor has told me that they no longer give the injection that was used in the past to stop milk from coming in. I am already very large busted and do not want to get engorged. Are there any herbs that I can try to prevent the swelling? Is there anything I can do to keep my milk from coming in? Please let me know if you have any suggestions!Sage and parsley are the herbs used to dry up breast milk. Sage can be taken as a tea, 1/2 teaspoon steeped in a cup of water for 15 minutes. Take three times a day for one to two weeks. Fresh parsley can be included in the diet.
