I have a friend at work. His niece has porphyria, a blood thickening disease. Is there anything she can take that is natural to help her? She is only seven and she cries about being in pain all the time and headaches. The doctor they go to says to give her sugar. That doesn't seem right.Poryphyria is a defect of the enzymes creating haemoglobin. It is usually a congenital disorder causing multiple sensitivities and symptoms.
