Taking Milk Thistle Separately from Saw Palmetto

I use milk thistle drops to assists with liver function because I take medication. I also use saw palmetto. drops. I am 48 years of age. I have heard that these drops should be separated when taken, one in the morning and one at nighttime. Can they be taken in the same time frame? Or should there be a time frame between them.

I don't know of a reason to take these separately. I use them together in herbal formulations.
