Can I take bladderwrack in addition to thyroid medication. I don't take them at the same time.
Bladderwrack is a seaweed containing idodine. It is sometimes used to support a thyroid that is underactive due to iodine deficiency. In thyroid conditions, it should be taken only under the advice of an experienced health practitioner. It can cause serious heart problems if taken with thyroid medication or if an improper dosage is taken.
