Bloodroot for Warts and Moles

Can bloodroot be also used on warts as on moles? The extract that is.

Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) can be used externally for warts and moles. Bloodroot has drying and antiseptic actions that dry up external growths. The powdered root is made into a paste and applied to the skin growth. Or you may find an ointment containing bloodroot. If you are using the extract, you will have to be very careful that the liquid is applied only to the growth, not the skin around it.
If applied properly, Bloodroot should not affect the surrounding skin. If you notice any irritation, wash the area thoroughly and discontinue use. It is not to be taken internally.
