Would you please send me information on the herb myrrh if there is any?
Myrrh is the gummy resin extracted from trees and shrubs growing in eastern Africa and Arabia. Most commonly it comes from the myrrh tree (Commiphora myrrha) but it is also collected from related species.
Myrrh is used in incense and perfume. Medicinally, it is antiseptic and astringent, and so makes a good gargle and mouthwash for mouth sores, sore gums, coughs, asthma. It is also used internally for bad breath.
